David Gurney
A prolific creator of children’s media. David co-founded the award-winning Blue Rocket Productions, has created, written, and directed numerous television series,
and is currently a producer on Season 5 of the multi-award-winning preschool series Little J & Big Cuz. He holds a Masters in Screen Arts and Business from AFTRS.

Kim Linnett
The creator of The Odd Mob, a Tasmanian-based illustrator, graphic designer, visual storyteller, She holds a BA in Visual Communications from UTAS and a Diploma of Screenwriting from the New York Film Academy. Kim creates quirky characters inspired by the world around her and a lot of random doodling.

Martin Chatterton
Martin Chatterton is an award-winning author and illustrator with over 30 years’ experience creating books for children. Published in 14 languages, his work has earned numerous awards and nominations. He also writes crime fiction, screenplays and historical fiction, performs internationally, and holds a PhD. Martin divides his time between Australia and the UK.
Hyde
the Tassie Tiger
Hyde is T-Bone’s sidekick and enabler, but if they’re caught out, he’ll blame T-Bone faster than a booger on a waterslide. Hyde is a serial exaggerator.
T-Bone
the Tassie Devil
“T” stands for trouble and “Bone” stands for “Bonehead”. He isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer, and his plans are always flawed. Not exactly organised crime, more like disorganised grime. T-Bone is always trying to pull off the ultimate deal. It never works.
Cray Cray
the Southern Rock Lobster
Cray-Cray is the proud owner of Cray-Cray’s Fish ‘n Chips. He’ll cheerfully sell any of his friends and relatives to you – deep-fried or crumbed and doesn’t do a bad teriyaki glaze either.
Briney
the Flinders Island lamb
Every leader needs followers, and Briney is the ultimate follower. Unfortunately, there’s no leader, so she has no one to form a queue behind, although she once spent six weeks lining up behind a tree stump.
Prickles
the Echidna
Prickles is a serial hoarder and maker of the sorts of arts and crafts nobody would want in a million years.
Cubes
the Wombat
If you ever need a tunnel, Cubes is your go-to wombat. He also believes that a handful of dirt can solve any problem, although this claim has never been fact-checked.
Lavender Bear
Lavender Bear shot to fame, becoming the celebrity face of a wildly successful Tasmanian road safety campaign, reminding tourists to wear seatbelts.
Now he prefers to focus on his charity work, making appearances at the hottest events around town.

Cranky
the Eastern Quoll
Despite her cranky appearance, Cranky is actually cranky. On the rare occasions when she isn’t like that, she’s grumpy, angry or furious.
